Meet Us

Moss & Relic began with something fairly simple: two people who found that some of their favorite interests were things they could enjoy together. It started with a growing collection of crystals and minerals that quickly became much more than a few pieces here and there. What began as an interest grew into a genuine appreciation for the beauty, variety, and stories found in these natural pieces.

For April, crystals and spirituality have become part of a much more personal journey — one centered around self-discovery, reflection, and continuing to understand herself and what she believes. That journey has inspired a book that is still very much a work in progress, as well as a desire to share what she has learned and continues to learn along the way.

Chad brings his own collection of interests to Moss & Relic, with a strong appreciation for history, metaphysical and Pagan traditions, Norse mythology, survival and self-reliance. He has a particular interest in plants and trees, as well as the history and stories connected to the objects and traditions that capture his attention. His interests often take us in directions we might not otherwise explore, which is part of what makes building this together so interesting.

Somewhere along the way, we realized that the things we were already enjoying together could become something more. That growing crystal collection had become a full-blown obsession, and when we began talking about starting a business, it felt natural to build it around something we both genuinely enjoyed. Moss & Relic became an opportunity to spend more time together, share our interests, and create something that could grow alongside us.

We don't see Moss & Relic as simply a place to sell things. We want to share the pieces, ideas, traditions, and information that interest us, while continuing to learn ourselves. Some things will be beautiful, some unusual, some deeply personal, and some will simply make you curious enough to want to know more. Wherever this business takes us, we're excited to discover it together.
